Аннотация

This note follows Cieszewski and Wawrykowicz (2025) on VASIP 1.0 and presents VASIP 2, version 2.0.20, for variable-age site index (VASI) curves. The model and parameter collections are the same. The new program features include: animated graphs with live reference movement, nested conditional bounds at one, two, and three standard errors (SEs), similar live graphs of absolute and relative errors and biases with optional screen comments, live site index and the 1st thinning ages, scalable and adjustable graphs, various import and export functions, and extensive output enhancements, and reporting facilitating functions. Measurement errors and process errors alike can be viewed separately or jointly at any level of confidence. Double graphs show absolute and relative deviations and their bound-sum bias, a measure of bound asymmetry. The program also provides a complete user guide. It retains sixteen Alberta and Saskatchewan parameter sets. We trace their sources to the 1991 Alberta note and the 1993–1995 Saskatchewan records. The bounds have no verified probability coverage.
