Author Guidelines
General Comments
Manuscript Format
Manuscript should be submitted for review in any computer readable and editable form in a "Camera Ready" format with all figures and tables placed within the text near their first reference. The lines and pages should be numbered and the margins wide enough to accommodate review comments; although, the reviewers are expected to review the manuscript in a format that resembles the final appearance of the published manuscript.
Submission of figures and tables in MS Word format
Tables
All tables in MS Word documents must be compiled in MS Word Table Objects. To create a table in Word type Alt-t and then select "Insert" or click on the "Insert Table" icon on the top banner of MS Word.
Figures
All figures need to be submitted as individual files in the EPS format. The figures can be converted from MS Word to the EPS format by using free software such as GIMP. For example, copy the figure from any MS Office program by clicking on it and typing CTR-C. Then paste it into the Microsoft Paint program by pressing CTR-V. Edit the white space about the figure and select Save As to save it as JPG file. The jpg file can then be easily loaded into the free GIMP software and exported as EPS file. To confirm that the created EPS file contains the intended graph open it in Adoby Acrobat, which should convert it automatically (using Adoby Distiller) into a PDF format and display the content of the file.
